you can convert Hive and HBD through blocktrades and then send on to an exchange to withdraw from and likewise coming in. I have found that converting to LTC isn't bad for fees while I paid a lot more when I used Bittrex. So, I kind of found their locked wallet a blessing. Now if they would put the UST one back in use so I can get that out of there.
