Here is the post of my car's exhaust pipe being scratched by the towing service. Luckily it's not a serious issue like the pipe being broken into half or crooked, or even cracked up a hole...
Can see the scratch mark on the road. It looks exactly like using a chalk and draw up the road, but actually it's the steel that is being rubbed on the road surface, with dusts and particles from the exhaust pipe.
Luckily it is not that bad from the exhaust pipe view underneath. It is just a few scratch marks, no signs of dents or even cracked pipes. Probably because I stopped the tow car guy from pulling further up once the exhaust pipe starts to hit the ground during pulling up.
You can see the picture above how further out my exhaust piping is. It wasn't like this last year, because I have been smelling exhaust fumes back then so I was advised to extend the exhaust pipe muffler further out from the bumper, about 4 inches more... That didn't help at all because all the fumes are still going into the boot. The problem has been fixed after changing the exhaust gasket and sealing the trunk's little vacuum holes, but there are a few holes are yet to be sealed.
Probably I am going to shrink the exhaust pipe when this is all done, I am having difficulties on going down slope or parking lots with this overextended exhaust pipe.
