BLOCKCHAIN SURVEILLANCE: How AI tools unmask your secret wallet.
[IN LEO COMMUNITY - PART 2 OF THE CRYPTO FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE SERIES]
Most crypto users believe a stupid myth. They think Bitcoin and Ethereum are completely anonymous. Just because your name isn't on the public ledger doesn't mean you're safe. The ledger is public. Anyone can scan it. And today, giant corporations are using aggressive AI tools to map out your net worth.
Firms like Chainalysis don't track transactions manually. They use two main dirty tricks to catch you:
- Heuristic Clustering: You send crypto from your "private" wallet to an exchange like Binance or Coinbase where you did a KYC check. Boom. The AI instantly links every single historical address connected to that wallet directly to your government name. Your whole financial history gets grouped under your identity in three seconds.
- Dusting Attacks: This is sleazier. Analytics firms send tiny, useless fractions of pennies (satoshis) to thousands of wallets. When you eventually bundle your funds to make a larger transaction later on, you unknowingly merge your wallets. Their software instantly maps your entire capital distribution.
The fix? Stop reusing addresses. Treat public crypto addresses like single-use tokens. On public chains, generate a fresh address for every single transaction.
Stop making it easy for analytics firms to audit your wealth.
