Someone once said that the key to failure was trying to please everybody and the key to success was being too stupid to stop doing what you want to achieve. I realized that with myself I really am trying to please myself first with my artistic endeavors and hoping that everyone else likes what I do enough so that I can continue ( perhaps to find kindred spirits as well). I find it hard to stop trying to move forward whatever the rest of the world thinks. After a setback I am usually a little deflated but usually come back stronger.
