I'm sure by now, everything one, even children below ten must have heard about Pi. Pi the next big thing that was to come and make everyone a billionaire, lol.
Pi is a new digital cryptocurrency that you can mine using your mobile phone. It was launched on so-called Pi day — March 14, 2019, i.e. 3.14.2019 and it was developed by a team of Stanford graduates to provide general people greater access to cryptocurrency.
I remember when I first heard of Pi, that was sometime last year. A friend of mine told me about the new crypto currency that was gonna be as big as bitcoin. He told me everything about the network and how simple it was to mine and accumulate Pi.
As an ambitious and optimistic human, I immediately downloaded it and started mining with the hope that by the month end, when it is launched, I'll be a nigerian millionaire or something close to that since it was rumoured to be launched at $1 per unit.
Over the couple of months that followed, I mined consistently, made few referals and boosted my security circle.
Until December came, the month it was supposed to launch, it didn't launch. Maybe people made fun of it, calling it a scam project.
But, I still believe and I'm still mining.
pi was developed with the mission of building a cryptocurrency and smart contracts platform secured and operated by everyday people. It was built on the perceived failure and successes of the first ever blockchain, bitcoin.
Pi is currently in the mainet stage and I really hope and wish every stage is completed and launched before the year ends.
