Seeing things through the eyes of a child, priceless, They loved every minute of the zoo. Eyes wide, pointing and oohh and ahhhhing. Of course Roman liked the snake house the best. That kids loves anything reptile.

Millie's favorite was the indoor aquarium where you walked along the corridor and watched all the fish swimming behind the thick glass.

The sun was shining and the day was warm, but not so warm that the animals had to hide in the shade. The Ape House was another big hit, though Millie wrinkled her nose up at the smell.

Of course they got tired of all the walking and had to take a little break. When they get a little bigger I won't be able to do this, so I'm enjoying it while I can!

Dipping dots was the favorite snack of the day. What kid (even an old kid like me) can resist tiny dots of ice cream?

The day was a huge success and I hope they will have memories of this day when they are grown, and taking their own children to the zoo!
