Hello everyone. Here's my first time posting on this community, I'm so glad to partake in the @needleworkmonday . though I've been a fashion designer for about 8 years, so i sew for pleasure now as I have a lot of work I handle.
Today I will be making a three quarter pencil skirt with a black web designed net fabric, and also underline with a black dull face fabric.
The picture above is the web net fabric, I put a white paper underneath so the web design will be more prominent and beside it is the dull face for the underline.
The pictures below is the front and back skirt pattern of both the net fabric and the underline. I made the underline shorter than the net fabric for aesthetics.
The front skirt pattern after it has been attached to the underline.
The back skirt pattern after it has been attached. You can see the aesthetics look I created by making the underline shorter than the underline.
The picture above is the finished look, after the front and back pieces have been attached.
This skirt can be worn with any colour of top and even African prints (ankara) too and also can be worn with matching colour of shoes, like flats, heels or sandals.
