(RP) Yesterday, we went cherry-picking in LE VILLAGE. It's the height of the season, the trees are full of them, and we'd better help ourselves before the birds spoil them too much.

It was another request from our innkeeper, and he wasn't disappointed: we harvested 27 kilos, enough to make a large clafouti, jam, cherries in brandy and probably other uses that he'll find thanks to his inventiveness.

Yesterday's prediction contest for this number named @noctury as the winner, who came closest with his proposal (20).

@hivecurious, who regularly participates with the number 54, correctly notes that 27 is half of 54. He considers this a half-victory and decides to celebrate by carrying the cherry harvest to the inn himself, which is very kind of him, thank you.

If you'd like to know the recipe for cherry clafouti, I can write it down for you on one of the papers I keep in my pockets.

(RP) Hier nous sommes partis à la cueillette des cerises dans LE VILLAGE, c'est la pleine saison, les arbres en sont chargés et il vaut mieux se servir avant que les oiseaux les abiment trop.

C'était encore une demande de notre aubergiste et il n'a pas été déçu, nous en avons récolté 27 kilos, de quoi faire un gros clafouti, de la confiture, des cerises à l'eau de vie et probablement d'autres usages qu'il trouvera grace à son inventivité.

Le concours de prédiction de ce nombre organisé hier désigne comme gagnant @noctury qui se rapproche le plus avec sa proposition (20).

@hivecurious qui participe régulièrement avec le nombre 54 remarque avec justesse que 27 fait la moitié de 54, il considère que c'est une demi victoire et décide de la fêter en portant lui même la récolte de cerises à l'auberge, c'est très gentil de sa part, merci.

Si vous souhaitez connaitre la recette du clafouti à la cerise, je peux vous la noter sur un des papiers que j'ai dans mes poches.

What's the point of professions?
A good professional never fails at a task, and sometimes has great success.
In other words, for any High/Low game that falls within a profession's field of competence (today, with cherries, it would have been Gatherer), you'll receive a bonus:
If you lose (20% chance) you still get 1 HSBI
If you get your money back (50% chance) nothing changes, you get 1 HSBI.
If you win (30% chance) you get 3 HSBI.
