THE VILLAGE DIARY:

After a hard day's travel to get as far as possible from our burning village, during which we eliminated 18 Zombies, we set up camp by a river to spend the night.

Some of us had the idea that traveling on water would be less dangerous, as Zombies fear it, and it would lead us for sure to the ocean, which is our destination.
The idea is appealing, but we know nothing about the region's waterways, and abandoning our carts for rafts would be a great risk if we came across waterfalls or rapids downstream.
Perhaps later we'll consider this means of transport if we come to a river of sufficient width and obtain information on its navigability.

The night was relatively quiet, the scented candles kept the Zombies at bay and only a small group approached. One of our watchmen had the presence of mind to grab one of the buckets of water provided in case of fire and doused them, they immediately dispersed and our crossbowmen gave them no chance.

Today we set off again on our journey to the ocean and then to the island that would be our salvation.

We don't have a precise map, and I'm offering those who have already traveled the papers I have in my pockets to write down their memories of the regions we'll be crossing.

Dear Villagers, today I'm sending you your latest HSBI as part of the VILLAGE participative investment game.

It's time to take stock, for those of you who've been here since day one, you've earned 182 HSBI units, 61 as a sponsor and 121 as a sponsored player for the building game.

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:

Après une journée de voyage harassante pour mettre la plus grande distance possible avec notre village en flammes et durant laquelle nous avons éliminé 18 Zombies, nous avons établi un campement au bord d'une rivière pour passer la nuit.

Certains d'entre nous ont émis l'idée que voyager sur l'eau serait moins dangereux car les Zombies la craignent, et cela nous amènerait à coup sûr à l'océan qui est notre destination.
L'idée est séduisante, mais nous ne connaissons rien des cours d'eau de la région, abandonner nos charriots pour des radeaux serait un grand risque si en aval nous tombons sur des chûtes d'eau ou des rapides.
Peut être plus tard nous envisagerons ce moyen de transport si nous arrivons à un fleuve suffisamment large et si nous obtenons des informations sur sa navigabilité.

La nuit a été relativement calme, les bougies parfumées ont tenu à distance les Zombies et seul un petit groupe s'est approché, un de nos guetteurs a eu la présence d'esprit d'attraper un des seaux d'eau prévus en cas d'incendie et les a arrosés, ils se sont immédiatement dispersés et nos arbalétriers ne leur ont laissé aucune chance.

Nous repartons aujourd'hui pour notre voyage vers l'océan et ensuite vers l'ile qui serait notre salut.

Nous n'avons pas de carte précise et je propose à ceux qui ont déjà voyagé les papiers que j'ai dans mes poches pour qu'ils inscrivent leurs souvenirs des régions que nous allons traverser.
