@tengolotodo What an easy read! I had this image in my head of where you were in the classroom, and cutting your finger! Brilliant! I love the fact that you hid your thumb, and continued as normal with HRH asking if you paint the plane afterwards, noting all the blood spatters around. My dad has similar stories of being caned at school in Africa for being a complete nonsense. He also tells us how they ties their feet and hands up and dropped them off a 3m diving board as part of their survival skills, those that did not surface got punished! Beyond what would be considered child abuse in todays terms 😳.

My dream has always been to meet the Queen. I was living in London for her 50th Jubilee and remember the picnics in Green Park as part of us celebrating. Hoping to get over this year just to hold a glass up in the air and salute her! 70 years on the thrown! I am following the festivities day by day!
