A vincerlo è stato una leggenda come Anthony Hopkins e devo dire che mai statuetta fu più meritata.
In questo film l'attore britannico sforna una prestazione sontuosa, magistrale, impeccabile.
Recita la parte di un anziano signore alle prese con una demenza senile cavalcante che lo spiazza costantemente, lui persona viva e intensa che ora non ha più il controllo della propria vita, delle proprie sensazioni, della realtà sotto i suoi occhi.
