After the parenthesis of "El Camino", the sequel film about Jesse Pinkman, Vince Gilligan returns with the fifth season of Better Call Saul, the prequel series of Breaking Bad. The most coherent universe in the world, perfect in the development of the various storylines within the various timelines is coming to an end. Two more seasons and we'll know the final fate of lawyer Saul Goodman. For Gilligan it will be an even better ending than that of Breaking Bad, already considered one of the best, if not the best, ending ever. The premiere opens, as usual, with a flash forward in black and white that shows us Jimmy, pardon Saul, pardon Gene, intent on planning yet another escape. Has he been discovered? We will understand it in a few minutes before returning to the present where a lost Kim is overwhelmed by a Jimmy definitively transformed into Saul. Between the two of them, something's starting to creak. Saul is taking over Jimmy, unleashing turbulence in Kim. On the Los Pollos Hermanos front, Gus is having a tough time with the cartel. Mike's been having a major internal scuffle since Werner Ziegler was killed. Lalo is stealing more and more of the show. The table is set. All that's left to do is enjoy the best show in five years or at least one of the best.

L'universo più coerente al mondo, perfetto nello sviluppo delle varie storyline all'interno delle varie timeline sta per concludersi. Ancora 2 stagioni e conosceremo la sorte definitiva dell'avvocato Saul Goodman. Per Gilligan sarà un finale addirittura migliore di quello di Breaking Bad, già oggi considerato da tutti uno dei migliori, se non il migliore, finale di sempre. La premierè si apre, come d'abitudine, con un flash forward in bianco e nero che ci mostra Jimmy, pardon Saul, pardon Gene, intento a pianificare l'ennesima fuga. E' stato scoperto? Lo capiremo in pochi minuti prima di ritornare al presente dove una spaesata Kim viene travolta da un Jimmy definitivamente trasformato in Saul. Tra i 2 qualcosa inizia a scricchiolare, Saul sta prendendo il sopravvento su Jimmy, scatenanando turbolenze in Kim. Sul fronte Los Pollos Hermanos, Gus vive una situazione difficile nei confronti del cartello. Mike vive un dissidio interiore fortissimo dopo l'uccisione di Werner Ziegler. Lalo ruba sempre più la scena. La tavola è apparecchiata. Non resta che godersi lo show più bello degli ultimi 5 anni o almeno uno dei più belli.
