#35 - The Premise (Hulu)
#33 - Only Murders in the Building (Hulu)
Per Only Murders in The Building vale il principio opposto a quanto declamato in precedenza per The Premise.
#32 - For All Mankind (Apple TV Plus)
#31 - Dexter: New Blood (Showtime)
Come sempre vi aspetto su www.serialfiller.org.

This is the future link to the post that I am inviting you to read in the coming days at www.serialfiller.org and which is previewed here
As usual, today I am bringing you inside a new Preview of an article that in a few days or weeks you will see In the Mind of a SerialFiller, my blog entirely focused on the world of TV series and of which, for the past few months, I have decided to constantly give you, in advance of what I will publish, most of the posts you will see on www.serialfiller.org.
One step away from the top 30, the SerialFiller Globe is entering more and more.
The five-part list I present includes some very interesting titles and equally important names.
Could they be higher up in the rankings, or could they sink?
You be the judge of that.
In order to get you more involved in these moments, starting this year, you will also find at the foot of the page a nice poll in which I will ask you to choose which TV series is your favorite out of those listed in the post.
I hope the community appreciates (and grows larger and larger).
Greetings from your neighborhood SerialFiller.
Good scrolling.
#35 - The Premise (Hulu).
The anthology series conceived by B.J.Novak has exhilarated me. I must admit that, stripping myself of that parameter of objectivity that I always look for in making my rankings (granted and granted that there is no such thing as objectivity when it comes to visual and non-visual art, other than a set of technical and narrative rules that determine its quality) perhaps The Premise would have deserved a few more positions.
I found it to be a very distinctive and intelligent product, capable of telling us very well about the changing times and the crookedness of contemporary society (and man).
You can find my review here.
#34 - Pose (FX)
Pose was one of the many historical series that experienced its own swan song of 2022.
A script that was always flawed was counterbalanced by the usual emotional strength that drove the show at every moment, powerfully exalting the frailties and power of human beings in all their forms and peculiarities.
A review of the final season of Pose can be found here.
#33 - Only Murders in the Building (Hulu)
For Only Murders in The Building the opposite principle applies to what was previously decried for The Premise. If I had not looked at the technical, narrative and stylistic neatness of this brilliant show by Dan Fogelman (This is Us), most likely this show would have slipped much further back in this ranking.
The hype, success and general approval for this series speaks for itself.
Only Muders in the Building is a series that deserves a viewing.
Pros and cons can be found in this my review of the first season.
#32 - For All Mankind (Apple TV Plus).
For many insiders, For All Mankind is the best sci-fi series on the market.
I disagree, but not too much.
I thought the first season was good but with too many shortcomings.
The second, which aired just in 2021, denoted a major leap in quality, especially in the final part.
The third seems to have consolidated that level, making the Apple TV Plus series stand out among the best science fiction series in recent years.
In this post I told you about the second season.
#31 - Dexter: New Blood (Showtime).
I will preface this by saying that the return of Dexter, as you may have read from my many reviews, has displaced me.
Very disappointing at the beginning, very convincing in the middle part, collapsed, as happened in the original series, on the finale.
Where, then, to place such an important sequel reboot for us serialfillers?
Outside the top 30 but in an important position, despite its myriad flaws, seemed to me the most Solomonic solution.
A commentary on the middle part of the season here.
Bonus Track: The Serpent (Netflix)
The bonus track will have many of you screaming for revenge. The Serpent had a planetary success that in my opinion it did not deserve. Outside the top 50 of this blog but with a special mention. I have sentenced this, inescapably.
If you like true, slightly bloody, thriller stories, though, catch it up.
Here is my review.
As always, I look forward to seeing you at www.serialfiller.org.
Be sure to sign up if you are also a serialfiller and pass the word so that this little community will grow bigger and bigger!
