Pochi minuti e abbiamo già incontrato tanti personaggi importanti.
Fiducia?
Come sempre vi aspetto su www.serialfiller.org.
Grazie dell'attenzione!

This is the future link to the post that I am inviting you to read in the coming days at www.serialfiller.org and which is previewed here
As usual, today I am bringing you in a new Preview of a post that in a few days or weeks you will see In the Mind of a SerialFiller, my blog entirely focused on the world of TV series and of which, for the past few months, I have decided to give you constantly, in advance of what I will publish, most of the posts you will see at www.serialfiller.org.
Welcoming us will be Alicent Hightower, daughter of Otto Hightower, whom we will soon see sitting at the select council table as the "Hand" of King Viserys.
A few minutes and we have already met so many important characters.
A moment's patience longer and we will sit down, again at that table of city government with our memories still turned to the old participants of those meetings, from Tyrion to Bronn, via Master Pycelle the Red Viper, Lord Varys and Lord Baelish and many more.
We leave a little so to see around that table again the same titles but different and unfamiliar faces. It was like going home to your grandparents, many years after Christmas parties and family tables and finding out that there is someone else at the head of the table and around him/her, new friends, acquired family members and nothing that made you remember that that was your grandparents' house except the same chairs, the same knick-knacks, the same clothes and so on.
It took a while to get acquainted with Otto, Lord Corlys and company but we finally made it.
In the meantime, we had learned that Aemma, wife of Viserys, was expecting what would be the king's first male child (or so the king imagined the sex of the unborn child would be), who would be born in a few days, an event the king planned to celebrate through a lavish and expensive tournament that would call together the entire realm.
We will learn, then, that for Aemma pregnancy had always been a way of the cross since, apart from the happy pregnancy that had produced Princess Rhaenira, there had been as many as five pregnancies that had culminated in the death of the unborn child, sometimes post-partum, sometimes intra-partum. It will turn out to be a crucial detail to better understand the act that will lead Viserys to an impossible choice.
What was clear from the various trailers, the names in the cast, and what is largely confirmed in this episode is that Matt Smith (The Crown, Doctor Who) would play a central role.
His Daemon Targaryen, in fact, is the most inspiring character in this pilot.
His seems to be a story that has nothing classical about it while being structured in the most classical way possible.
Brother of the king, direct heir to the throne (unless and until Viserys and Aemma conceive a son), ambitious, rebellious, tenacious, and standoffish, Daemon is the epitome of danger and the meteor that scares the conservative and stands in the way of the ambitious.
At the same time, however, Daemon also seems to be a man to trust, to bet on, to watch your back against in case of enmity. We remain in doubt, to the very end, as to how Daemon would have behaved if only he had had more trust from his brother.
Trust?
As always, I look forward to seeing you at www.serialfiller.org.
