Come di consueto oggi vi porto dentro una nuova Anteprima di un articolo che fra qualche giorno o settimana vedrete Nella Mente di un SerialFiller, il mio blog interamente incentrato sul mondo delle serie tv e di cui, da qualche mese, ho deciso di regalarvi costantemente, in anticipo su quello che pubblicherò, gran parte dei post che vedrete su www.serialfiller.org.

Che cosa si intende per dramedy?
Per una volta voglio agevolarmi e agevolarvi la vita e prendere in prestito le parole della Treccani:

Nell'ambito televisivo, prodotto di fiction che mescola elementi del drama e della commedia (sitcom); la stessa parola è una fusione di drama e comedy e ha come sinonimo comedy-drama. Il termine ha origine statunitense, ma è stato poi adottato anche da altri paesi. Con la nascita della Quality TV negli anni Ottanta del 20° sec., i due generi opposti drama (contenuti seri, personaggi complessi, riprese non in sequenza con una sola macchina da presa, riprese in interni ed estreni) e comedy (diatribe verbali, arguti botta e risposta, uso dell’iperbole) si ibridano, facendo anche cadere la netta distinzione che voleva il drama durare un’ora e la sitcom mezzora. L’ibridazione si svolge a vari livelli, per cui alcuni drama incorporano elementi della comedy e viceversa. Il primo esempio di questa ibridazione è Moonlighting (1985-1989), uno fra i più recenti Sex and the city (1998-2004).

Chiarito, una volta per tutte, il concetto stesso di dramedy voglio riportarvi al 2020 quando, inserendosi in un trend oramai decennale, tantissime furono le serie tv di altissimo livello ad insinuarsi in questa categoria tanto da indurmi a studiare quali fossero state le 5 migliori serie tv dramedy del 2020.
Da allora questa top 5 annuale divenne un'abitudine.
Il recentweet di oggi ci riporta indietro di un paio di anni, facendo riaffiorare vecchi ricordi o nuovi consigli.

What is meant by dramedy?
For once I want to make my life easier for you and borrow the words of the Treccani:

In the field of television, a drama product that mixes elements of drama and comedy (sitcom); the word itself is a fusion of drama and comedy and has comedy-drama as a synonym. The term originated in the United States but has since been adopted by other countries as well. With the emergence of Quality TV in the 1980s, the two opposing genres drama (serious content, complex characters, non-sequential single-camera shooting, indoor and extreme filming) and comedy (verbal diatribes, witty repartee, use of hyperbole) hybridized, also dropping the sharp distinction that wanted drama to last an hour and sitcom half an hour. Hybridization takes place at various levels, whereby some dramas incorporate elements of comedy and vice versa. The earliest example of this hybridization is Moonlighting (1985-1989), one among the more recent Sex and the City (1998-2004).

Having clarified, once and for all, the very concept of dramedy I want to take you back to 2020 when, fitting into a now decade-long trend, so many top-rated TV series crept into this category that I was prompted to study what the top 5 dramedy TV series of 2020 had been.
Since then this annual top 5 became a habit.
Today's recentweet takes us back a couple of years, bringing back old memories or new recommendations.
