Come di consueto oggi vi porto dentro una nuova Anteprima di un articolo che fra qualche giorno o settimana vedrete Nella Mente di un SerialFiller, il mio blog interamente incentrato sul mondo delle serie tv e di cui, da qualche mese, ho deciso di regalarvi costantemente, in anticipo su quello che pubblicherò, gran parte dei post che vedrete su www.serialfiller.org.

Che pazzia è stata quella di trascinare me stesso nella cernita di quelli che, a mio giudizio insindacabile, sono stati i migliori personaggi maschili del 2020 nel panorama televisivo.
Una follia perchè ha occupato tantissimo tempo.
Probabilmente, credo che sarei riuscito a scrivere 6-7 recensioni con lo stesso minutaggio a disposizione.
Le passioni ti trascinano, a volte, su sentieri scivolosi, pieni di tornanti e con vette lontanissime ad aspettarti.
La mia vetta, in questo caso, era di una futilità totale, lo so, ma avevo voglia di raggiungerla ed una volta agguantata mi ha permesso di fermarmi e guardare dall'alto la collina che avevo scalato munito solo di una tastiera, un motore di ricerca ed un pizzico di fantasia.
Quanto la sto facendo grossa.
Mi fermo qui.
Ma allora quale era questa cima da scalare?
100 personaggi, non in cerca di autore, che avevano fatto la differenza nell'anno 2020. Li ho cercati in ogni serie tv che avessi visto, li ho analizzati, frullati, alcuni li ho scartati, altri li ho messi in un blocco di intoccabili, altri in una casella "da valutare" e cosi via.
Alla fine son rimasti in 100, i magnifici 100.
Ma non era finita.
Trovati i 100 tenori avrei dovuto metterli in fila, in ordine di importanza, di rilevanza, di impatto, di gradimento.
Che faticaccia.
Tessere di un mosaico che prendeva forma ma che doveva essere perfetto, che doveva rispondere alla visione che avevo di quell'annata, di quei 365 televisivi che volevo fossero riflessi all'interno di quell'articolo.
Ci sarò riuscito?
Non ci sarò riuscito?

As usual today I am bringing you inside a new Preview of an article that in a few days or weeks you will see In the Mind of a SerialFiller, my blog entirely focused on the world of TV series and of which, for the past few months, I have decided to constantly give you, in advance of what I will publish, most of the posts you will see at www.serialfiller.org.

What madness it was to drag myself into the sorting of what, in my unquestionable judgment, were the best male characters of 2020 in the TV landscape.
Crazy because it took up so much time.
Probably, I think I could have managed to write 6-7 reviews with the same amount of minute available.
Passions drag you, sometimes, on slippery paths, full of hairpin bends and with distant peaks waiting for you.
My peak, in this case, was one of utter futility, I know, but I was itching to reach it and once I grabbed it, it allowed me to stop and look down on the hill I had climbed armed only with a keyboard, a search engine and a pinch of imagination.
How big I'm making it.
I'll stop here.
But then what was this summit to climb?
100 characters, not looking for an author, who had made a difference in the year 2020. I looked them up in every TV series I had seen, analyzed them, whipped them up, some I discarded, some I put in a block of untouchables, some in a "to be evaluated" box, and so on.
In the end there were 100 left, the magnificent 100.
But it wasn't over.
Having found the 100 tenors I would have to line them up, in order of importance, relevance, impact, liking.
What a chore.
Pieces of a mosaic that was taking shape but had to be perfect, that had to respond to the vision I had of that year, of those 365 TVs that I wanted reflected within that article.
Will I have succeeded?
Will I not have succeeded?
Only you can help me understand the effect of that useless piece of work.
