Lately and with more and more People joining the Dtube platform and choosing this to be their new home I have seen a lot of the content creators here talking about the quality of the content You put out there.
It is true that this is a video platform but in my opinion that doesn't mean You need to be a film maker to be able to be able to create quality video content.
With this said I agree that You always should try and improve Your editing skills and Your style but that doesn't mean all the people that have better editing skills are producing better content than You.
So if like me film making it is not your passion and You do it just because You enjoy it, because You have fun and because You like it. Don't feel discouraged with this conversations or even if You see other people evolving and changing their editing way faster than You are.
