So Russian bears akupirovali Latvia
Usually in the forests of Latvia winters just 10 bears, the newspaper writes. But over the past year in the country found traces of about 50 predators, mainly along the North-Eastern border of the country. An employee of the Latvian state forest research Institute Janis Ozolins says that the bears rannoista bee hives and tore Pets. The bears have also noticed many locals.
As noted by the LA.lv, breeding of predators promotes, in particular, the neglect of the adjoining Latvia areas of the Pskov region: "Where once people lived, now stand abandoned, empty village".
In August the Russian invasion of the bears complained to the inhabitants of the Belarusian village Lozuvatka in Vitebsk oblast: animals ravaged the hives, the people, fearing an encounter with a predator, do not go out at night and in the evening from home. The villagers have surrounded the hives with barbed wire and hung empty beer cans on the trees for alarm.
Bears came to the area after the fires, 2015 in the neighboring Smolensk region. According to workers of the local forestry, 10 years ago in the area was walking a bear, then their number increased at least to 35.
