Today's Pequegnat clock is the Berlin.
It's a mantel clock from the Berlin, Ontario factory (1904-1941).
Case: Oak (recorded examples also in black and forest green - rare).
8-day time and strike; gong hours, bell half hours.
1904, 1913 and 1918 catalogues; renamed 'Berlyn' in Sept 1916 when Berlin, Ont. became Kitchener; early examples have fleur-de-lis hands.
