The market cap can easily be manipulated if we wanted to. For instance, if Hive wants to reach number 1 in market cap, we could just one time print 1,200,000,000,000 Hive and lock it away in an account without keys. It never is in circulation but it would count toward total supply so we would have a huge market cap, would probably get listed on coinbase, would moon. Haha
