Taking the Plunge and Spent 6,000 DEC on the Brilliant Mystry Potion

I decided to go big or go home and do the brilliant potion. I like the idea of getting a 100% chance of getting a daily reward. I felt like it a was a big gamble to spend about 15 STEEM. That is a coulpe of really nice legendary cards, or a lot of common cards that I need to level up.

I went with the Brilliant because I wanted something everyday... I felt it was better for me mentally to not feel like I made a mistake.

Day 1

Logging in on Day one I see this

Getting excited, I get lead to the next door...

Sweet, I got a card!

Drum roll please!!!!!

Ummm ok

Not the start I was hoping for... but ok. I am sure tomorrow will make me feel better.

Day 2

Day 2 was just the same, I got another package, that was another card. I was hoping for a better result this time.

Not feeling good

2 days in and I got about 2 of the worst reward cards. I really hope it turns around

Day 3

Day three changed. I don't have a picture, but I got an Orb to open. Good news is an orb is at least 5 new Promo cards. I am feeling better. This reward is worth 2500 DEC if you are just to buy it. Lets see what I got.

Pretty good I think.. Honestly I have almost none of the new cards yet so I struggle to know what is good, just that I need to level them up to level 6 summoners. Its going to be a while.

Day 4

Oh no... Back to a single reward card. Lets hope for something better than a common....

Ok its a rare, but this is not what I was thinking for 6000 DEC...

Day 5

My last day, hoping for the best... but I get another single reward card.

Ugh, overall I am a little sick about spending 15 STEEM for these cards. I get the gamble, but 4 normal reward cards and I promo pack just does not seem to be a good trade off.

Overall thoughts

Mystery Potion are not for me. I know others will hit the lottery and get a $200 card, but I did not and think my deck will grow better if I buy the cards I need.

I think buying Orbs might be a better deal, but I don't know if I will do that either. I am buying the
Brilliant Quest Potion, I do like getting 5 extra cards a day and I make enough DEC to sustain this forever. While I could extract more STEEM to buy cards, I am ok getting more cards that might be epics, legendary or gold. 25 cards is a pretty good trade off I think.
