Hey guys! On this post I just want to share my entry for

@acidyo contest creating #hive business card since the theme is used one side of the hiveonboard.com and on the other side hive Ph discord community, and so here it is.

I used **Figma** for the process of my work.

I wanted to capture the frontend of hive.io website which pretty straight forward what hive is all about and on one side be more about touch of Philippines and Bee which all I can think of whenever I hear the word "Hive.

Since I used to own business card one thing that I don't like with paper cards is that it gets folded and gets thorn apart whenever it sits inside your wallet, so later on, I choose to have my cards to be made of plastic, one positive side of this is that clients do keep it on them, at the same time, sticks out as it's more unique that usual and this would last longer. so.

Below are the feature of the card, I tried to capture as much as possible the main color used for #hiveblocks which is red and on the otherside used black since I feel that it's more dominant and sophisticated feels.

Yellow border to represent as like the BEE - HIVE

Since this is gonna be made of Plastic, I want the Large White Hive logo to be transparent and show its uniqueness.

Different renditions for the Philippines side, I was testing different version of it, since I wanted to put in some filipino touch in it, I was going for the thread weaving filipino have, but unfortunately I've seen an entry that it has already been used so I moved to to a different approach and made four different look.

But I think I can only make one entry, I have to go with what @demotry's preference since I have been asking him to check on my works I have to go for it, and if this card take the win, I will share rewards with him (1 HBD 😂😂). I'm kidding I'll definitely be giving him 10% of it course! anyways.

Final Design: Hive Business Card

Front side

Bold and straightforward statement of how hive is Fast. Scalable. Powerful. which shows how it is in the frontend of the website.

Back side

HivePh Logo, with "Baybayin" (An old filipino Script) which says Maharlika which means "Free Men" as I believe cryptocurrency liberated everyone from the centralized banking system, honeycomb to represent Hive as powerful, scalable blockchain.
