Hello Steemies,
I was just thinking about how I got into this Steem world. I heard about it (i'm almost completely sure) on Jack Spirko's "The Survival Podcast" I have had a lot of time in the car these last couple of years and found podcasts to pass the time in New York City's traffic.
We are a family of three who recently acquired 20 acres of raw land near woodstock, NY to build a mutly-family homestead with anarchist tendencies. I know what some of you might say about New York not really being the best state for freedom but we have our reasons. Friends and family are near and we have started building the homestead, so we are here to stay!
I thought if anyone here understands liberty the same way I do, here is a list of podcasts that should make you want to hear more.

Dayly Show. Jack Spirko talks about all that is Survival. Permaculture, Guns, Prepping, Homeschooling, Homesteading, Primitive Skills, Economics, Anarchy, Critical Thinking... The list goes on and you will usually not find anything from the "Dooms day Prepper" world and almost no politics unless it directly relates to real liberty. He also has an excellent member support system with discounts on many many things we need for homesteading and prepping. Jack has great show notes, read them, this show is a lot to take in.
2- The Vin Armani Show: http://vinarmani.com
Weekly Show. Vin Armani is about Liberty, Anarchy, Voluntarism, Economy, Crypto-Savagery (this is a term I will have to let Vin Armani explain to you)... again the list goes on but here you will hear an amazing array of interviews. Lots of things to learn for our new future. He has already taken steps into that future and has written a book you can purchase with crypto currency only, the book is called Self Ownership. They are long episodes but they will suck you in. It's a good driving podcast, though you may want to take some notes.

Weekly Show. James talks about Liberty, Anarchy, Tiny Houses, Survival Gear, Permaculture, Paleo, Homsteading, Living Off Grid and more... This is a show with a host who uses critical thinking and comedy to educate people on living free. It is a smart show and another good place to learn survival, also with good show notes.
