Don't be scared, upvote yourself!

Hello steemians! A week has passed for me since i entered the Steemit community and i must admit that i really enjoy this platform. For that reason i thought it would be a good idea to share my experience and tips on growing your own page since i assume we all try to accomplish the same thing which is growing an awesome steemit page! 

Now as i said i assume all of you out there want to create a successful steemit page and in order to do that i have 3 major tips to grow your steemit page tremendously. 

1. Read blogs from other people in the "new" section and leave an upvote and reply if you liked what they wrote. It's not handy to check out the trending or hot page since nobody is going to see your upvote there. It are the new people that need the same help as you so support each other!
2. Find the niche you want to write about and take the time to write the best post ever. Make sure you check all your spelling mistakes because it says alot about your quality. And quality is important trust me!
3. Don't be scared to upvote your own posts. I am a big supporter of positive psychology and the last thing i care about is what other people think of me. When you feel like you put your heart and soul in to a post and you feel like you deserve an upvote for it, just do it. It's fine! I myself do it too.

Growing a Steemit page requires; discipline, consistency and dedication. But maybe more importantly patience. Think about 7 to 8 years ago when YouTube and Facebook were just starting off, you think people who started at that time had any idea they would be as successful as they are today? They simply did what they enjoyed doing and got rewarded for not quitting. 

Upvote yourself because it's fine. People have enough critics on themselves already and steemit gives you the opportunity to reward YOURSELF for your hard work!
