Today I will share my activities today in the liketu community, hope you enjoy it.
The weather which has been rather hot these past few days has not been a problem for tomato farmers in my area. Today the farmers around my house are harvesting tomatoes to sell to the main market in my area.
Tomatoes are plants that can grow anywhere. Tomato plants can grow well in the highlands (more than 700 meters above sea level), medium lands (200-700 meters above sea level), and lowlands (less than 200 meters above sea level).
Many tomato plants are planted around the area where I live.
Tomatoes can be harvested for the first time after 90 days. Furthermore, harvesting can be done every 3-5 days until the fruit runs out.
This first harvest produces 60 kg with a land area of 0.5 ha.
which will be distributed to the main market. The price of tomatoes in the market is around Rp. 8,000 to 10,000 per kilo.
Constraints experienced Actually there is still a lack of capital and tools to work the land, because so far only use simple tools. However, with this deficiency, remain enthusiastic and grateful for the results obtained.
Farmers hope that in the future it will be even better to increase production,
