You know I realised that I was better off going the other way up and then coming down the way I went up today - I think it's steeper uphill that way (I have to walk quite a lot of it!) - at least I think I've found a circular route now - I'm fairly sure I can find a safe route down next time I go, and do it in the opposite direction!

I do like the hills, you do live in a very flat part of the country!
