Duffing my heart, taking a bow and saying "thank you for having me here" should be appropriate but I don't wear a hat in the comfort of my home and my bow isn't great. I am working on it.
But you get the idea: I am delighted to be here.

Thanks especially to my dear friend, Amie for introducing me to this platform.

I have always been passionate about writing ever since I could think clearly. But lacking the right platform to showcase my thoughts scribbled in words has been a hindrance. So you can understand how excited I am about this opportunity.

Starting with an introduction- a lengthy introduction is quite a challenge for me because I consider talking about myself a tedious exercise. This is not because there is no beautiful thing to talk about myself. On the contrary, there are (I tell myself that a lot). I just don't enjoy talking about myself that much because I believe there is a thin line between talking about oneself and gloating. So, most times, I show not tell.

However, since there is a demand for introduction and in the verge to step out of my comfort zone, I will oblige.

I am Akunne Kodili Anselem by name. I am a Nigerian by birth and nationalism. I am from Anambra state, the Eastern part of Nigeria.
I studied philosophy as my major at the University. This has made me a very observant person and a critical thinker.

I am also a very curious person. So curious that I can wake up and decide to take a road never taken before just to satisfy an inquisition.

However, my curiosity has limits. I am not curious enough to be nosing around people's business that isn't beneficial to my development. As much as I love the feeling of fascination, I hate feeling embarrassed.

I love to be by myself at all times regardless of the pressure of society to be otherwise sometimes. I love to be in my space; it is safe and free from drama and noise. I like company too. So long as it is not all day and we both know when to leave. I mean it gets exhausting.

I am a hybrid. A mix of hot and cold, hard and soft, flexible and stiff.
I wear my heart on my sleeve when it comes to giving a helping hand. That is after thinking it through that I am not being foolish.
I love love, exercising, nature, art and positive development.

Still, most times, I feel I dont know myself enough to talk about myself.
I am evolving, and life is in constant flux so I flex myself with it.

I am so many things. But I am not yet the person I want to be.
I am continuously gravitating towards him.
And with you here I am sure I am a step closer to becoming him.

All images are mine.
