Everybody has a set of songs that well up particular memories and today I'm going to share 3 tunes that holds a lot of memories for me.

For the first tune on my list, it's a Nigerian musician that is popular but I don't usually listen too..
I listen to this song frequently just to relive the memory that comes with it๐.
When it was released, I remember I was just writing waec in my last year of secondary school.
Mind you I was in the hostel and phones were prohibited.
Well plenty didn't follow this prohibition and Friday nights were always party nights.
This particular Friday night, in my room we had a blast vibing and dancing to this song, it was on speaker thus no one heard the Hostel master exit his room.
It was a rather funny sight as he bust into our room, and seized, 3 phones, a laptop and speaker, then danced out to this particular song๐ญ๐๐
Apart from the memory, it is a pretty fun and danceable song โจ
This OG trap song is one I can never forget, my best song for 2 years straight.

Unknown to me that when I was dancing, rapping and singing at the top of my voice to this and other songs, my folks had come back and was knocking at the door downstairs ๐.
I left my mom, outside in the sun and then rain for 2 hours straight and she could hear the music blaring out of the house.
When, I finally decided to come downstairs, I noticed her car.
Needless to say, she wasn't all that warm๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ.
This is one tune that has survived the test of time, old and yet new, gaining and losing popularity over and over again, due to different trends.
This is another song that holds a memory for me.
The last 3 years of high school/secondary school, when hormones were high and courage unnecessary higher๐ญ๐ญ.
A young lad had just pepped himself up to propose to his crush.
He was turned down pretty hard ๐ญ (Girls are brutal in these times๐)
Now when you've been let down as a guy, one thing you should never do is to go back to your male friends about it.
The embarrassment would be increased tenfold๐ญ.
After I came back all sober and shit, these dudes had the audacity to play this song and sing and vibe with it๐ญ.
I was down๐ญ๐ญ, so down that I decided, if you can't beat them, join them.
Hence I sand with them๐๐, murdered the song, sang my heart out๐.
Those were good times ๐โจ
As I was writing about this, I was listening to these songs again and reliving these memories ๐
Sometimes it's good to go through memory lane, see how much you've grown and how much fun you had๐โจ
