A tiring Saturday this was, so tiring that I already had half a mind to forget about the #threetunestuesday post.
The exam stress is getting worst and in result so does the amount of energy I spend reading and memorizing.
Regardless, I made it a personal goal to post everyday of this month August so let's see how it goes, cause I don't think I've posted on Tuesday if I haven't talked about music.
Throughout this exam period, my playlist has been on FELA. I needed loud tunes that will gather morale and help check your stress levels.
Although today was different, for real you know the exam has started once Physics change your perception on life.
I needed to cool my head, I needed cooling music to help chill everything.
So immediately I went to my playlist and put on one of my calmest artists.
This was a lovely tune. This is a lovely tune.
Telling the story of a man who's in love and about to propose.
The nice vocals and chill beat was a merciful sound to my tired ears.
The next thing that came on was the iconic..
I believe by now everyone should know this song. The song that catapulted him into the major spotlight, 7 years is a vibe.
Here, Lucas talks about how he's life has progressed and how he hopes it would go from when he was 7.
Talking about the wishes he had, advices he was given, people he gained and lost and experiences made. Till date it's still one of the best songs to mull over.
In this rather sad track, Lukas talks to a failed love. Wondering at how it all went wrong.
He wonders at how the feelings between them simply died, wondering where it all went to.
It's a rather simple yet moving song, a style that he had managed to master in almost all his songs.
Then I guess that's it from me this week. A rather short post as I have to go back to reading 馃様馃槶
Tagging my pal and founder of #ttt @ablaze then his Irish bro
@blanchy to validate the entry.
