On that quiet afternoon, I strolled through the garden bathed in evening light. Green leaves spread out wide, dancing in the gentle breeze. As I stepped further into the garden, my eyes suddenly fell on a leaf that was slightly different.
On a leaf, stood a striking green rice grasshopper. Its slender body and pair of long antennae make it look very graceful. This grasshopper appears to be one with the leaf it is standing on, almost as if it is camouflaging itself with its surroundings.
I knew this was a moment worth capturing. Carefully, I took my smartphone out of my pocket. Although the grasshopper seemed aware of my presence, it remained calm in its place, occasionally moving slowly as if chasing its own shadow.
I started photographing it with great attention. The evening light that adorns the sky has its own effect on this grasshopper, making its green color shine even more. Even though the grasshoppers tried to hide among the dense leaves, I managed to capture their beauty in every photo I took.
This moment taught me about the beauty hidden in the nature around us. Sometimes, we need to take a moment to see the lives of small creatures that are often overlooked.
