Three day weekend
It was a long time ago since I started to work, I was only 15 years old and for me it was freedom, it was a reason to leave my parent's house and start earning my own money. I was young and full energy and was ready to work as many hours and whatever job it was.
Luckily, because of my love to cars and a bit of knowledge how to repair I got this job in garage. The owner has already noticed me spending hours there and doing any possible job. Once when he was working on his favourite classic car he asked me to help him and I was so excited that did not notice that despite of having weekend I was working there from morning till evening. I learnt a lot and it was a pleasure to see that day by day I was better and better. The boss appreciate my hard work and supported me since.
When I recall those days I think that it is actually in our hands to make our life to be the way we want with hard work. I have never regret that and I am glad that nowadays I can effort me some days off and not necessarily need to stick to weekdays or weekend.
My week is starting on Mondays and finishing on Thursdays, then I have my three days of weekend and they also all planned in forehand.
Friday is the day for my grandchildren who know that they can come to my little island that I have bought 10 years ago and made it an adventure paradise. I have 5 grandchildren luckily they are between 4-7 years old so they love to play here where it is safe and they are free.
My Saturdays and Sundays me and my wife travel to any place, we randomly drop a coin on Europe map and just escape for two days. She usually cheats a bit in order to get to her destination, I know that and it makes me smile. But I never disclose it because I love to see her happy.
This is my three day Weekend and I really love it this way.
