I'm really digging the different textures here, and how they grade down from the real life rocks, to the the black&white main figure, then flat shaded tongue (reminiscent of McFarlane, as you mentioned). Great idea to have him flowing out of the rocks, too.

The left to right flow on this is great - everything from the the stroke texture, to contrast, to the splash of red. Really just a lot of fun to look at.
Inktober #2 - Tranquil

That pose is tranquil indeed. Something about the style and hair (and four arms) which really makes me think of a new wave scifi cover.

Mixing images can be a dangerous thing, but when it works out right, you get something very fun. Congrats to
