The woman points to her children and starts to lay into Max. "Look at these kids. Do they look loved and cared for? No! They are street urchins! They run around town stealing and creating trouble! Why would you think I should help you? I can't help everyone! I can't even help myself or these kids, she exclaims." Then her tone becomes threatening and she uses lots of swear words as she tells Max to get lost.
Action 1:
Max calmly but swiftly pulls out his shotgun and pulls the trigger before the woman is able to slam the door in his face. The gun makes a clicking sound, but nothing more.
Still holding the door and about to slam it shut, the woman stops and laughs at Max. "What the fk," she shouts. "You f*ing moron, you can't even use a gun!"
Action 2:
Max pulls the trigger again. The gun makes another clicking sound and Max's heart begins to pound. Before Max can do anything else, the woman makes a fist and swings it at Max's face. Max was able to duck the punch. (I think the script is stuck on fail with 3 fails in a row).
