Hello everyone! 😎 📷

It's a 291st Shadow Hunting (SMaSh) contest in a row. One of the oldest contests on the Hive blockchain, it has been running continuously for more than five and a half years and regularly pays out rewards for interesting shadows.

Do you have any good shadows to show? Be brave, this is not a strict photography contest where strong juries judge frames, lighting, contrast and so on. Just an interesting shadow, a moment in time that you captured with your camera or phone and that's enough. Shadows are everywhere, especially on a sunny day outside.

So, are you ready for Shadow Hunting? Believe me, you won't find this opportunity anywhere else. You go out for a walk, take photos of shadows, post them, and get rewarded for it. Where else have you seen that? That's awesome!

What you're waiting for?

Although I take a lot of photos, I don't consider myself a good photographer. I only use my phone. Shadows are everywhere and if you make it a challenge you will see more of them.
For today I have prepared some photos of shadows, the first four were taken in one location in just fifteen minutes.

My wife and I went to the seaside for a weekend on the island of Pag in Croatia and stopped for a coffee in the town of Senj. The weather was sunny and clear and while we waited for our coffee I went into action :)

Pigeons

We sat on a bench on the shore and watched the sea, a flock of pigeons circling us. And this one was coming at me, I had to take a photo.

And a whole flock. Yes, we were eating some sandwiches, so they came to us. They were waiting for crumbs.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I shot all this in just 15 minutes. Coffee, one cigarette and shadow hunting :)

Then we moved on, from Senj to the island of Pag another 52 kilometers. First the ferry, and then, the final destination - a shadow on the beach.
