When I first showed up here—it’ll soon be 10 years—it was out of pure curiosity; blockchain posts were something new, and I wanted to see how much my posts were actually worth. Well, it went slowly; my learning curve is more of a gentle slope than a steep one. And now here I am. After all these years, I think my posts are of higher quality than they were at the beginning, but they’re worth less. I don’t know exactly what’s going on—I’m neither a finance nor a crypto expert. I can’t predict the future either, but it certainly doesn’t look rosy.
If I were a newcomer discovering Hive right now, I really don’t know how I’d react. Excellent tools—both for blogging and finance—and a decentralized multimedia environment, but the financial impact is very small. Hive used to be easier to find than it is now in this age of AI. Hive needs to find a way to jump on this bandwagon, because if it doesn’t, it’ll fall even further into obscurity.
So what about me now? I actually have nowhere to go, because I’ve already been everywhere, and everything that offered any financial benefit for blogging has failed. I think I’ll stay here, either until a new rise or an even greater decline.

RE: If you found Hive today, would you stay?
