Five years ago, we planted a fig tree in the garden on the sunniest plot.
Figs haven’t been around in four years, but this year it’s a surprise.
The fig tree yielded abundantly.

I have to admit, though, that I haven’t eaten figs yet.
But I will probably taste these homemade ones.
