Dope Purple is a Taiwanese band from Taipei. They have been playing since 2016 and create psychedelic, noise, and space rock.
An exceptionally wild, unique, and hypnotic band that believes psychedelic rock only comes to life in front of a live audience.
To date, they’ve recorded three live albums at their performances.
Their music is built on heavy guitar riffs, massive noise, guitar synthesizers, and hard rock elements.
The songs are mostly ritualistic, repetitive, trance-like improvisations.
The song “Beyond the Body" is from their third album, Children in the Darkness, released in February 2026.
