I was always curious about DNA and ancestry, but my only reservations was that there seems to be very little data on Russian / Ukrainian DNA. In the past I saw that these companies classify people as Eastern European DNA with very little data beyond that and that didn't seem interesting at all.

I wonder if the DNA testing has progressed to the point where it can actually do something useful for the area I am from?
