Very astute post you have as always. One point I disagree on:

Modern Chaos Legion Players I would say are more likely to capitulate and dump their SPS + Cards instead of playing Wild/Survival as they are not going to want to fall in the same trap to spend thousands of dollars just to see the value evaporate over time.

I don't think anyone is going to capitulate and dump their SPS + Cards instead of Playing Wild/Survival. I think we have only hardcore players left by now. I can see the following happening:

60% of the Modern Players will keep playing Modern
35%+ will switch to Wild / Survival, perhaps botting only
<5% will quit

Just my honest opinion, but will shall see what will actually happen pretty soon...
