Today was day one of me talking off a couple days so that my wife can take a whole day Zoom class for her continuing education for her business. Our daughter is still on her summer vacation and school is not starting until September.
We started the day with a quick meal of fried eggs and making coffee for my wife. Then my wife went to her Zoom call and we went to Costco. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning and it was still half an hour of Executive members shopping so Costco was a lot less busy than usual.
It is actually fun to shop with our daughter at Costco. She never complains and is helpful with shopping, pushing the cart and is having fun bu riding the cart when isles are empty.
After Costco shopping trip we unloaded groceries and supplies and used one of the newly acquired items to build a rocket-bottle. We mixed some dishwasher soap with baking soda and citric acid and added apple cider vinegar, closed it and shook it for some time. I had trouble opening the bottle cup. When I did manage to open it I couldn't hold on to it and it took off about fifty feet up. I was all in a pretty bad smelling mixture. I had to go to the shower to wash it off, but our daughter had a lot of fun.
After the shower we did some cleaning up of the Legos out of my office and organizing the paperwork in my office. Then we went to the bank and after the we did some image processing in Photopea, which is a free version of Photoshop.
Then we uploaded images to her print on demand art store and created some new products out of those that are instantly available for sale on her website.
While we were having fun Bitcoin apparently broke out of the trading range that it was in for over seventy days. And as I am writing this it is still at sixty nine and a half thousand dollars.
Hive also had a small spike and finally showed some signs of life. It briefly went above four cents before falling back below the four cent level. It appears that this pump in Bitcoin was caused by the meeting Trump had on crypto today.
Not sure if this is going to last, but it is nice to see some interest coming back to the crypto currency market. I also see some people on Hive start talking about dollar cost averaging into Hive.
We are at record low Hive prices and some dollar cost averaging makes sense here. If we have a new bull cycle building Hive Power at these prices can prove to be a good decision.
Pictures in this post were all taken with my Samsung S25 phone this year. And I got over fifteen thousand steps today thanks to a very active day with my daughter and tomorrow we are going to have another day together.
