It didn't take too long, I managed to take this bus today as well! I am not sure how extensive new bus routes cover, but I have only seen this 'blue' themed bus around Heng Mui Keng area, I can't remember if it is just for this service number hmmm.
But it seems to be really new, and has a 'new bus' smell, the seats feel quite rubbery and have strong friction. Maybe to prevent people from falling off their seats when dozing off? hahaha
There is also an improved digital display of which stop we are approaching and important stuff like that. Sometimes when it is at night, or when the glass is foggy, you just can't see outside and have no idea where you are. More often than not, you get off at the wrong stop and everything screws up. If this functions well, I can see it being added to every bus. It would be really helpful for everyone.
