One shall never miss Godafoss - God of Waterfalls when traveling in North Iceland.
Godafoss is rated by locals as the most stunning waterfalls during winter season in Iceland;
we could not wait 'til winter nonetheless
I could tell literally the gorgeousness of this fall
although we visited in October -
the season transition month,
the darkest dull month of all.
The name Godafoss is named after Christianity was officially the religion of Iceland back in Year 1000.
This historic story of Godafoss is certainly mesmerizing.
What made it even more captivating is that of
the broad wide elegant arc waterfall rushing down from Vatnaj枚kull -
the most voluminous ice cap in Iceland.
Hardly believe we are still able to spot the footprints and spirits of Vatnaj枚kull from South to North!
If I were to visit Iceland again,
I would definitely meet this beauty in winter.
