Spiky is known for having spikes in his back and because of these some of the people do not want to hug him especially when there is a group hug. They are afraid of being hurt from the spikes of Spiky.
Spiky just want to be hugged because he never experienced it in his whole life. That is why he put a sign saying "free hugs" hoping that someone will try to hug him
