We rarely spend more than a couple of nights anywhere at the moment and it's usually just the night. Today we stopped cruising in the day as the weather took a turn and we even had a hail storm, yes I know it's May but someone needs to tell mother nature this.
So after we had turned off the Oxford Canal and onto the arm of the Grand Union Canal theat leads to Warwick we just wanted to negotiate the first three locks and find a place to moor up for the night.
Little did we know that the sun sets directly at the end of this little straight of the canal.
So all in all the day worked itself out and ended with a nice little apology from Mama Nature for freezing my arse off half way through the day.
