Hail to the Hive!
After two very relaxing weeks at Kilby Bridge the summer has decided to go full force and we have set off on a cruise back towards Foxton Locks.
The Leicestershire countryside really is quite striking and I managed to capture some lovely shots for a ‘Kilby to Foxton’ post but some just begged for monochrome and I have been a tad lazy on the blockchain so I thought I’d crack my knuckles on this post first and share these b&w images.
The first shot is a typical cruising canal shot but the second and third were actually taken in the morning from where we moored up for the night. I still find it incredible that you can live like this. It’s amazing really. Waking up to different waterside views everyday. Not to mention being able to stop in countryside and cities and towns. Truly amazing.
