Good Morning to all you Hivers!
today I have a nice change of location as finally a few places are opening up and there's a rather nice #coffee shop 2 minutes walk from the dive shop. It's unbelievable how good it feels to just being having a coffee ( and a cheeky breakfast mini cheese cake). For the first time in over one hundred days i am sat in a coffee shop having my beloved black juice and tapping away on my laptop. Shear Bliss. Cheesecake breakfast of champions.
I've always loved coffee shop vibes and really enjoyed being able to stop and do some work in a coffee house while on supply runs to the city. Once or twice a month I would go to Cebu City and pay bills and purchase supplies for the dive centre but would have to keep on top of the running of the dive centre remotely. So quite often I would stop in a t a coffee shop whip out my I pad and keyboard and answer e mails, book in divers, process completed diving certifications etc. I always loved the feeling of working remotely in that environment and then being able to stop and sip my coffee and watch the world going by in whatever place I was in.
Now I do this daily morning ramble I look forward to being able to do that again but include it as part of the daily ramble as every coffee house has its own vibe and the settings do vary quite considerably. Hopefully soon we will have the freedom to safely do these simple things once again.
But for now at least i have the little coffee shop round the corner from work so I am happy to at least have this golden slice of normality back and i cherish it.
