Ray of Hope- Monomad

So a little light perhaps at the end of , what seems to be, a very long dark tunnel. Yesterday we were granted permission to do a few maintenance dives to check out the moorings. I had to submit the names of the staff to do it and get permission from local authority, coastguard etc. All done!

So armed with the paperwork in case anyone in authority came to ask ( there have been arrests with people breaking quarantine and diving) we set about getting the first dives done in 8 weeks.

@biggypauls , along with his wife ( one of the assigned divers) and another instructor ,Phil and of course myself popped down to what is these days a deserted dive centre.

Now for me this is the hardest part. To see the place empty of people , smiles, laughter and excitement is tough to take. Having poured so much of myself into this project to grow the business and increase our extended community of divers , it's really quite distressing to see it deserted.

Did make both myself and @biggypauls smile to see them going in the water though

But we realised at the same time we would have preferred to be in there ourselves even if it was just to check out the mooring lines.

Well we will be back again for a bit more in the next days.

If this relaxes even further we hope the paperwork involved in getting in will be less of a pain as it does limit what we are able to do and who we are able to use.

Oh and this is @biggypauls and myself smiling....kind of. We've been accused of being the same person on here before but we are clearly not. Our lives at the moment are intertwined so not unusual for there to be similar topics. He does dive with me and his missus works for me.
