Hail to the Hive!
I recently missed out on a lot of material on a quick journey back to Leicester but did salvage a bit of it as I sat on a National Express Bus watching the world go by as we passed through central London.
I had dozed off in my seat and awoke to some interesting street, rail and river scenes and quickly fumbled for my bag and inlad as my phone had died on me and wanted to capture at least some of what I was seeing.
I was kicking myself at not only not being prepared but for also falling asleep as I realised I must have missed an awful lot of interesting material, bugger!
But at ,east all was not lost and he few images I did capture were interesting and varied and most importantly monochromatically friendly 😁.
I really should have known better and been more prepared though considering that recently I have found it quite challenging to be in a position to gather material. Lesson learned, everything is an opportunity and always be prepared with cameras, phones and i pads charged and at the ready as you never know quite when and where the opportunities will present themselves.
All the shots taken here were within a 20 minute window, which is incredible when you think of the diversity in them. Houseboats on the River Thames, industrial rail shots and city acapes. @millycf1976 said I had missed some amazing statues near Marble Arch argggh. Next time , next time!
