So after my morning sunrise coffees at my place i came in early to the dive shop to push on with the progress made yesterday. Today I was organised and brought #coffee with me. Schoolboy error last days not bringing any in when the town is pretty much closed and nowhere selling any.Imagine nowhere to buy #coffee! The end of the world is indeed nigh.
Hopefully all the rubble created yesterday will be removed and we can bring down the retaining wall to allow the tide to do its thing. It will be interesting to see how far it comes in. I don't believe it's as far as the assessment that was made by the DENR. We shall see.
I am going to hold back on some of the reconfiguration of our Dive Centre until I can see what the ocean will do. I am confident we can improve the place so I'm happy to plough on with the work while tourism is not allowed as it's much easier to get things done without the worry of upsetting divers with construction and mess. In many ways it's been a blessing as now we are doing it i just don't see how it would have been possible to do while in operation.
Tomorrow I'll post some images of how the sea can now encroach further in once the restrictions have been removed. Until tomorrow....
