Hail to the Hive!

Usually we take sunsets in colour and for obvious reasons as they are superb displays of the natural environment conjuring its awe inspiring magic.

But they can also be quite dramatic in #monochrome

We were moored in an east-west facing stretch of canal which always throws some magic our way if the weather isn't being a total beast (which in England it does a lot) and I just thought the reflections and clouds cried out for a little b&w flavour and I was happy with the results. it doesn't always pan out but I think on this occasion it works beautifully.

It's a nice feeling after traveling a few miles and mooring up in a new location and taking in a great sunset. It's even better with a beer in hand, reflecting on the day (pardon the pun) and thinking about the journey tomorrow.
